One of the passing requirements of the study unit is that you have participated in at least 50% of the classes. The reason is that personal feedback from the teacher as well as other support and interactions are an essential component of the learning process during the course. In addition, one goal is to encourage students to team up and support each other in the studies. Class participation includes the requirement that you won't disturb others in class. The teacher maintains the right to remove you from the class if you have been shown to ignore this requirement by e.g. discussing loudly, watching videos or playing games. All practical matters, such as assessment details, timetables and discussion forum, are found on ITS. The teacher may be approached by email or messaging via ITS. A calculator (scientific, graphical, or CAS) is required.
