The course has one group and quota for 30 students: from GAIT 20 and 10 students from Arts Academy.
Other students can be approved only if there are available positions.
All communication trough Itslearning.
This course is recommended for Game and Interactive Technology Students. Additional students can join only if there are available seats in the game lab.
Course is suitable for students without previous game development experience but it's technical on some aspects like Unreal Engine Material editor.
Recommended Prerequisites:
Basics of 3D Modeling
Solid Computer skills
For homework you will need personal computer that is capable to run Unreal Engine 5.x.

The laboratory classroom is available Mondays-Fridays from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm for homework.

This is a laboratory course
The tools used in this course require a lot of hard disk space on your laptop (>80GB)
Support is given primarily for Linux-environment, the tools are executes in virtual machine environment. No support for Mac users, tools must be run in virtual machine, which is very likely to cause big problems, especially for ARM-based laptops. Thus, Mac not recommended.

The student needs his own computer that can run Intel architecture virtual machines. In addition, it is recommended to get your own USB-ethernet adapter if the machine does not have a fixed ethernet connection.
